With first-hand knowledge of how an organization's IT costs can spiral out of control, Andrew Dewar created Leaner IT Consulting to help companies like yours reduce waste in IT spending.

Andrew has over ten years of experience leading continuous improvement projects and several years of experience managing a team of IT support technicians through mergers, acquisitions, and other complex projects in the construction equipment industry. With his keen eye for eliminating wasteful spending, Andrew was able to save his previous organization approximately $500,000 in less than a year through asset value recovery, vendor negotiations, license reductions and detailed invoice reviews.

Andrew earned a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Windsor, an MBA from Athabasca University, and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from Aveta Business Institute. He has also been a licensed professional engineer since September of 2009 and a member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers since 2007.
